Earth Week Plogging • South Portland Parks, Recreation & Waterfront

This Earth Week, South Portland is hosting its first ever plogging event! Plogging is a combination of jogging while picking up litter. It originated in Sweden in 2016, but has caught on and spread all over! Note: Plogging requires a lot of stopping along the way, so even if you aren’t an avid jogger, you can still participate and have fun! Everyone will meet at Redbank Community Center, where they will receive clean up supplies and be divided into one of the four groups. Each group will have a group leader and be assigned a specific area of town.
