As part of this year's flagship festival, on Thursday July 24 at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies at Maine College of Art & Design, MOFF is presenting a collaborative film experience which brings together storytellers, environmental changemakers, field professionals, educators, students, and community advocates for an immersive day of exploration of and engagement.
Themes include conservation, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, water stewardship, and our evolving relationship to place.
Earth Day in July sessions pair short films with panel discussions, where audiences, experts, and voices from the films come together to explore the themes of the films and connect them to real-world work happening in their own communities.
